The Program Manager for Athletic Showcase Events will lead all aspects of our Headfirst Baseball & Softball Showcase Camps business division, with primary responsibilities for divisional strategy & growth, program development, relationship management, budget ownership, event execution and on-site logistics.
This role will report to Headfirst’s Director of Programs & Operations and lead a full-time team including a Marketing Manager and Program Operations Associate, as well as a team of seasonal/event staff through the full cycle of conception, planning and execution of our Showcase Camps programs.
This role is integral to strengthening important, long-term relationships with key vendors, facilities, and partners. Partners are inclusive of baseball and softball collegiate partner programs, as well as key baseball and softball high school travel programs – with a focus on relationship management and retention. This position is full-time year-round and based at the Washington, D.C. headquarters office of The Headfirst Companies, but will involve travel to our nearby distribution and storage centers as well as our camp locations across the United States – primarily in June, July, and August.

The Associate of Company Operations is responsible formaintaining, evaluating, and improving critical Headfirst Companies infrastructure. The Associate of Company Operations is the team’s backbone, operatingwithin multiple divisions and departments, and out of the Headfirst headquarters office (based in Washington, D.C.). The Company Operations Associate will use their proactive, solution-oriented approach to problem-solving, meticulous attention to detail, and strong communication and interpersonal skills to serve as the trusted and reliable central touchpoint for office management and company logistics.
The Associate will also lend key support to the Human Resources, Finance, Operations, and Talent Departments in the areas of team culture and professional development initiatives, new team member onboarding and training, benefits and insurance coverage administration, payroll management, and facility licensing, acquisition, and transition. Success in this role will come from positioning others (and the company as a whole) for success by managing our most important functions, allowing us to inspire the personal best in Headfirst campers, participants, and performers around the globe. The Company Operations Associate position is a full-time role for whom success will require close, consistent connection to all aspects of the Headfirst Companies infrastructure, including its physical office location(s).

The Associate, Sales & Customer Successfor the Headfirst Summer Camps division of Headfirst Companies will work as a full-time corporate employee based out of the Headfirst Companies’ Washington, D.C. headquarters office. This Associate role is the first step to a Marketing or Business Development career at Headfirst Companies.
As an integral member of the Headfirst Summer Camps core team, the Sales & Customer Success Associatewill play a key role in maintaining our most valuable customer relationships, leveraging data to set and achieve sales goals, and executing customer satisfaction initiatives across the division. Responsibilities include customer retention and communication, database management through HubSpot, customer events, and outbound sales initiatives for our Summer Camps division.
Headfirst Summer Camps: Headfirst is the leading provider of summer camps in the DMV area. We currently operate camps at six locations including St. Albans/National Cathedral School, Flint Hill School, Catholic University, St. Patrick’s Episcopal Day School, Mater Dei School, and Woods Academy. Our campers range in age from 3-13 and we offer a range of programming from Day Camp to STEAM Camp to sports camps.
