Counselors will lead campers in pre-written curriculum as they collaborate on theme-based projects to solve a culminating problem centered in STEM & the creative arts. We provide the training, curriculum & daily camp schedules along with all equipment for a successful camp day but need you to bring camp to life with your enthusiasm, dedication and un-matched energy. Camper ages: 7-8 years old Activities include: team-building, group games, field trips and guest expert workshops, science challenges, art projects Weekly themes include: Oceanography, cooking, urban design, sports science   Schedule: 7:45 am – 3:30 pm, Monday – Friday  Compensation: $15.65 / hour Additional opportunities: Morning Extended Day (7:15 am arrival)

Headfirst Summer Camp Junior Counselors are team players who are willing to work in any program as needed. While there may be opportunities to specialize in a particular camp program throughout the summer, our Junior Counselors are characterized by their dedication, flexibility, and willingness to work with campers of all ages and interests as the assistant counselor in a group. The Safety & First Aid Coordinator manages all aspects of the Headfirst camp experience related to the health and well-being of campers and staff. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, careful management of camper medication, oversight of all safety procedures and policies, communicating safety updates to families and Headquarters as needed, and the safekeeping of confidential camper and staff information. Camper ages: 3-12 years old Camp activities include: art, field and court sports, moon bounce, playground, science, field trips, guest workshops, robotics, swim instruction, inflatable water slide, snack, lunch, program meetings, morning and afternoon carpool Schedule:  - In-season (late June through mid August): 7:15 am – 3:30 pm Monday – Friday - Pre-season (early June): select weekends for training and site preparation Compensation:  $18 / hour

Headfirst Summer Camp Swim Instructors teach swim classes, write home to parents about camper’s progress, and assist in swim testing for recreational swim blocks. We provide the pool policies, instructional swim curriculum & daily camp schedules along with all equipment for a successful day at the pool but need you to bring camp to life with your enthusiasm and eye for safety. Camper ages: 3-12 years old Activities include: blowing bubbles, floating on front and back, swim strokes, kicking, adding breaths to strokes, jumping into the pool, recreational free swim Schedule:  - In-season (late June through mid August): Monday – Friday, arrival and departure times vary by location - Pre-season (early June): select weekends for training and site preparation Compensation: $12 - $16 / hour
