The Multi-Sport Program Leader is passionate about both sports and education, and actively works during the summer to facilitate growth in our campers and counselors. While serving as a role model for their counselors, the Multi-Sport Program Leader will produce transformative experiences through our curriculum, encouraging every camper to build character through the lens of sports instruction. The Program Leader will ensure that each camper has a personalized and impactful experience utilizing sports to guide them in achieving their personal best!
Every ship needs a captain, and as the leading authority on site, the Site Director acts as a jack-of-all-trades when it comes to running an incredible camp program. Reporting directly to our HQ team, and managing a team of onsite leadership, the Site Director is a dynamic, personable leader who embodies the spirit of camp.
Each week of Day & Junior Day Camp has a unique, immersive theme that is built to capture the imaginations of campers and counselors alike, and the Art & STEM Specialist is instrumental in fostering this creative expression. Reporting directly to the Day Camp Program Leader, they use their passion for both art and the sciences to create formative experiences throughout the summer through hands-on projects and interactive demonstrations.
Our programmatic excellence is what sets Headfirst apart, and the Assistant Director – Programming is the onsite leader for instructional coaching and behavior management across our different camp programs. As a member of the leadership team, reporting directly to the Site Director, the Assistant Director – Programming is an experienced, compassionate educator who prioritizes each camper’s success.
Responsible for both the management of the onsite team across all levels and the coordination of materials and facility logistics, the Assistant Director – Operations & Talent thinks clearly with the ability to consider the impact of interconnected programming and facilitates the organization of our camp programs and staff on their site. Reporting to the Site Director they are a natural leader who values personal connections with their team.
The Safety & First Aid Coordinator will manage all aspects of the Headfirst camp experience related to the health and well-being of campers and staff. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, careful management of camper medication, oversight of all safety procedures and policies, communicating safety updates to parents and HQ as needed, and the safekeeping of confidential camper and staff information.
Reporting to the Assistant Director – Operations & People, the Facilities Coordinator will provide smooth and efficient operation of their site, allowing both campers and counselors to make the most of their summer. Acting as the epicenter of successful camp operations, they will spend the majority of each day outdoors, ensuring all camp programs and activities are ready throughout the day.
Each week, the Innovators, Inc. Program Leader will support campers as they collaborate on projects to solve a culminating problem centered in STEM & the creative arts. While working alongside their team members, the Innovators, Inc. Program Leader will facilitate transformational learning opportunities for campers, providing the enthusiasm necessary to bring the projects to life.

Reporting to the Assistant Director - Programming, the Day & Junior Day Camp Program Leader is a dynamic leader and natural motivator for their camp program.
The curriculum for Extended Day spans a wide variety of ages and interest areas and the Extended Day Coordinator is a committed, driven leader who will work seamlessly with our Extended Day partners running camper activities. Reporting to the Assistant Director – Operations & People, this individual is a capable communicator and problem-solver, who is willing to be flexible in their responsibilities as needed.
